＊plasticには「偽物の」「見せかけだけの」という意味があるみたいです。
＊greenには「ドル札」という意味があります。
＊roseは「バラ」の他に「美人」「貞淑」「殉教」などの意味もあるみたいです。ただし「美人」として使う場合はthe roseと冠詞がつくみたいなので今回は違いそうです。「偽物の美人」だとちょっと面白いですけどね(笑)。
＊欧米では「薔薇」は「女性器」など女性の「愛」の象徴として用いるそうなので、plastic roseは「偽物の愛」でいいのかなって思いました。なんで日本では男性同性愛の雑誌名に「薔薇族」ってつけたのかな？ちなみに「百合」は、glee S6でブリトニーが「レズビアンの花よ♡」って言ってましたけど、ものの本によると欧米では「処女」の象徴みたいです。岡野弘彦の
