用量を2倍にして、1日2回、毎日、僕が言ってるのは…
＊Doctorは動詞で「診療する」「飲食物に毒を入れる」「修理する」「不正に改竄する」などの意味があるようです。意味深ですね…。普通に考えると“Doctor You”で「きみを診察する」、って意味なんだと思います。
＊“Doctor me”は、直訳すると「僕を診察して」、なんですが、文脈的に「僕がその医者だよ」みたいな感じでしょうか。
＊“gonna doctor who?”は「どこの医者にかかるの？」っていうのと、「ドクター・フー」をかけてるのかなぁ。
＊途中で(Call the doc')って煽りが何度か入るけど、“a doctor”じゃなくて“the doctor”っていうのは、「（どこかの）医者を呼べ」って意味じゃなくて、「（その）医者＝僕を呼べ」って意味かなと思います。
＊You can count on me for a fee（有償で頼っていいよ）
の部分、サイトによっては
You can count on me for free（無償で頼っていいよ）
になってて、全然意味が違っちゃうのですが、この歌の雰囲気的に何らかの対価を求めてる感じがするので(笑)、for a feeを採用しました。
＊Come on, whatever you need, hey, you look sick, bitchのとこ、歌詞見るまで全然聞き取れてなくてこんなこと言ってることすら知らなかったのですが、知ってからよくよく聴いてみたら言ってましたね。。なんかお医者さんごっこっぽい歌詞で最初Lady, do you feel ok? って言ってんのに途中で急にbitch になっちゃうわけ？？英語のニュアンス全然分からん。「熱があるの？なにがほしいの？具合悪そうだね、悪い子だ」みたいなノリなのか…？gleeでも「私はビッチよ！」みたいな、「自由な女」「ワルい女」みたいなニュアンスで使われてたから、イケてる悪い女、ってことなのかなー。
